Building upon what we learned from developing the Aldana I along with road-tested feedback from Ms. Aldana herself, The Aldana II features a slightly dialed back baffle configuration which is both one degree lower as well as one tenth of an inch shorter than the Aldana I's baffle. The chamber size was also increased from the tighter squeeze we'd been using for the Aldana I, making it more of a medium chamber design that's still slightly smaller than what you will find on our more vintage-inspired Slant Legacy design. The result is an easier response on the low end, a more appropriate level of focus, and a seamless combination of edge, warmth, and power that Melissa Aldana feels better encompasses the direction her sound has taken in recent years.
